The coach who's easy to talk to, but hard to hide from.

I was looking to lose weight and reduce the amount of alcohol and cigarettes I consumed. In the past I had tried “health kicks” but I found that while I was able to change things short term, I wasn’t able to sustain this as part of normal life. I was looking to find a solution that I could embed in my day-to-day life.

Hon helped me understand how to eat at a more measured pace, while not drastically changing WHAT I ate. He introduced me to techniques that allowed me to appreciate every bite. With regards to alcohol and cigarettes, he helped me to simply be aware of how much I was drinking and smoking, and create techniques to reduce these amounts. These techniques were bespoke to me: Hon really understood the drivers for my drinking/smoking and came up with practical ideas to replace drinking/smoking with other pleasures in life.

With regards to eating, I reduced my food portions by 30-50%. I couldn’t have imagined that I’d feel satisfied with so much less. As a result I noticeably reduced my weight, and felt so good fitting into my old clothes. A surprising result was that by taking more time eating I felt a dramatic increase in my wellbeing. With regards to drinking and smoking, I have decreased the amount to a much lower level. On all of these, Hon had given me tools and techniques which will stay with me for life.

Hon tailored his approach for what fit with me. At times it was a bit confronting or difficult to break down exactly what was triggering my behaviour. But through doing this, he was able to propose ideas and techniques that really worked for me. Hon's approach was filled with kindness - not just to me, but teaching me to be kind to myself; I can be really hard on myself but he taught me that it’s ok to fail, or to take a moment to celebrate success, before getting back on with the work. Hon brought a real sense of fun. Something like this can be hard going but he was able to temper the serious moments with some fun which made all the difference.

Finally I really appreciated that Hon never judged me. He jumped on board with my goals and from the moment we passed go I felt that we were working together to achieve them - regardless of his own personal views on them!

I’d have no hesitation in recommending Hon. His personal, kind, fun and easy-going yet firm approach immediately made me feel at ease. The proof is in the pudding, and even after 6 weeks of holiday I’m still using his techniques - he's changed my habits which is a very difficult thing to do!

Thank you so much for changing my life for the better, for good!

Hon helped me through a transition in my career made more challenging due to the Covid lockdowns, with useful guidance on how to develop a clear strategy, manage my time and build confidence.

He also helped improve my approach to applying for new work opportunities, advance my public speaking skills, and enhance my use of social media.

Hon listens carefully to your thoughts on what you are aiming to achieve and delivers a programme tailored to meet your objectives. I would definitely recommend Hon’s coaching programmes!

When I first met Hon, I had just started to become a functional human being again. It was only a month before, that my entire world had been turned upside down.

My career was forged in finance. I was well respected and I was climbing the corporate ladder - so to speak, rather quickly. All seemed well - except I harboured a secret that nobody knew. Not even my closest family or friends.

I'd been addicted to a particular type of porn for as long as I could remember. I would spend hours looking for the "right" video and after some time, I took it to the next level. It became compulsive, and I started engaging in pretty risky behaviour that went on for several years. It began to have a severe impact on my career and finances. My behaviour carried over to my work and I'd get anxious and angry whenever I couldn't act out.

I wanted to stop, but I couldn't. It had gone too far and I was just trapped in the cycle of getting high, feeling guilty and having the excitement creep up on my again.

My behaviour got progressively riskier as time went on. Ultimately, I was caught.

I had spent the day in police custody. I couldn't believe what was happening to me. I'd always been law abiding and I was brought up with decent values. I remember asking my lawyer, "How bad is it?" And he looked me in the eye and said, "On a scale of one to ten, with one being petty theft, and ten being murder, yours is a six". I was devastated.

What would my colleagues, friends and family think of me? And my wife...

Telling my wife was the hardest thing I had ever had to do in my life. In a swift but brutal 12 hours, my seemingly perfect life came crashing down. I lost my reputation, my marriage and close friends. I started seeing a counsellor, but after some time, I needed practical guidance and action.

This was when I found Hon. With a criminal case building against me and my life in tatters, I knew that I needed the best - someone who could help me rebuild and start living again.  I sent him an email saying, "I already have a lawyer, a psychiatrist and one of Harley Street's best therapists. I'm not sure I can even afford you, but I can't afford not to because this is make or break." And then our work began.

What immediately struck me about Hon when we first met, was that he was extremely calm and he put me at ease. It felt like we'd been friends for ages, and I was able to be completely honest and open with him. He didn't judge me - he just made start to feel human again. He said, "David, I can see that you're not a bad person. You're a good person, who's made a terrible mistake and the main thing is, you want to put this right."

Hon makes no attempt to appear a legal expert, but his general knowledge of the system was invaluable, having worked with others who had been through it. My case took many turns and we were able to quickly adapt by changing strategies and goals. I remember him telling me, "We don't know what's going to happen. You could go down, or you might not. But if you are, let's go out with a bang." Regardless of what might happen, I had a sense of positivity that I can turn my life around and make amends.

Throughout our work together, Hon kept me challenged and we made sure that my life never stopped. I continued working and I'd even got a new job that doubled my income, and we set contingencies in place in case of the worst outcome. His network of professionals in various fields was also invaluable, in helping me to maximise the chances of the best outcome possible from the courts and for the future.

Hon doesn't just work with anyone. He says that we all makes mistakes, but the difference is whether you're still an arsehole after making them. He chooses to work with you if he buys into you, just as much you need to buy into him and from our first meeting together, I was sold.

If you're thinking of working with Hon, go for it. Have a consultation with him and you'll see for yourself if you're the right fit or not. There's nothing to lose, and if you do decide to form a partnership with him, you'll have made a very wise investment indeed. And this is coming from a guy in finance.

When I started working with Hon, I was in significant debt. I owed friends and family money. Despite building a growing business, I couldn't apply for finance to scale it and I was not ready to give it up.

My partner knew about this - but what he didn't know was my past life, that I was about to go back to. I was a sugar baby.

Despite Hon's directness, I found him to be extremely open and approachable. This was hugely important to me, as someone with a past not easily accepted by society. Hon didn't judge me and he allowed me the time and space to tell my story and be completely honest with him.

As a younger woman, I developed an unhealthy taste for the "high life". I was a sugar baby to highly successful men, and some of them were public figures and it was a world I was about to find myself going back into.

I was desperate to find a source of finance to develop a business that had hit a glass ceiling. I could see through to the other side but I needed that extra power to break through it.

I was conflicted because a part of me missed that past life, and another part of me did not want to go down that path again.

This was when I began looking for a coach to help me through my mental mess and entrepreneurial dilemma. I'd never heard of a secrets coach before, until I came across Hon. When I read his website, I just knew I needed to work with him, so I reached out and had a consultation booked in.

Time flew by with our consultation lasting two hours, because we just hit it off straight away, and he gave me all the time and attention that I needed.

Leaving the consultation, I had confirmed what I already knew and I had no doubt in my mind about working with Hon. We started working together a week later.

In our first session, he'd told me straight up that I didn't need what I thought I'd needed in order to succeed. It was a bit of a lightbulb moment, as well as a tough one to take as he continued to tell me that everything that has got me to where I am now, was based on what I'd only ever known before. And that was no longer working.

We worked on developing a new relationship with money and who I was right now, not who I was before. I didn't have to forget my story, but I could forge a new one.

I wasn't ashamed of it - I just didn't want to risk losing everything else, and at no point during our coaching did Hon try to pass any judgement or opinion on that. Hon's brutal honesty as well as his kindness and generosity with his coaching helped me to get clear on what I needed to do, and who I needed to be.

Not long after working with Hon, I'd hired my first team of staff and began growing my business without having to look over my shoulder. I've gone on to win a prestigious awards in the food industry and my business is thriving.

I can't recommend Hon enough. If you have the chance to work with him, don't hesitate as it might be the best decision you'll make this year - or your whole life.

Through our coaching, Hon helped me to untangle some of the baggage that had been limiting me for years. He helped me explore with clarity who I was, what I wanted, and what I stood for.

Most importantly through our coaching I was able to give myself permission to want what I want – without judgement or fear. His open style allowed me space to explore, and his directive style challenged me when I needed it. I have grown a great deal from his coaching, and I am extremely grateful for having shared this journey with him.

I also appreciated the fact that we are both British Chinese, so by that single fact it allowed a level of empathy and understanding that I might not have got from other coaches.

My work with Hon allowed me to be make a huge breakthrough, which ripples down to my life today. I have married my ideal partner and welcomed our first child into the family.
